Well, don’t fret. You can help yourself come up with some HDB renovation ideas by understanding different interior designs. Here are three of them:

1. Minimalist

If you’re one of those fans of the concept “less is more,” then the minimalist style might be perfect for you. This style eliminates anything unnecessary, making a clean, sleek, and simple house interior. The furniture pieces are kept to a bare minimum, and even the colour scheme is limited to two to three hues (usually white, black, and grey). Since it allows for more uncluttered space, the minimalist design is great for small homes.

2. Vintage

If you’re someone who appreciates things from the past, you should consider the vintage interior design. The style is said to be inspired by homes from the 1940s-1950s. To lend a vintage feel to your flat, you should have a few antiques, such as a mirror with a gilded but rusty frame, as key decorative pieces. Wooden flooring and wall panels can also be used for added effect. Just be careful not to make your home seem outdated by overdoing things.

3. Contemporary

If you’re a person who likes living in the moment, go for the contemporary home interior style. This design can be challenging because modern trends continuously evolve. At present, the style utilises the open-floor plan and the use of steel, glass, and other materials. There’s also an emphasis on letting in much natural light, so floor-to-ceiling windows are a standard feature.

Make your flat look and feel yours genuinely by changing its interior. You can start by choosing the interior design style that appeals to you the most.
